Removing the cover of your PlayStation 2
Tools you will need:
- A standard and fine head Philips screwdriver for removing
the case
Things you need to know:
You must not have power connected
to your console during the case removal process!
- Make sure that you are working in a well lit area.
- It is also ideal that you work on a table or bench top.
- You must also be earthed so that you do not damage any components
on the Xbox motherboard that is caused by static electricity.
- When working on the Xbox, try to place the console motherboard
on an antistatic mat or an old PC motherboard sized antistatic
bag.
